Then some Pharisees came and tested Him by asking, “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife for any reason?” Jesus answered, “Have you not read that from the beginning the Creator ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh’? . . .

And after He had placed His hands on them, He went on from there.

When Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on the mountain and sat down. His disciples came to Him, and He began to teach them, saying: “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. . . .
I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.
The proverbs of Solomon: A wise son brings joy to his father, but a foolish son grief to his mother.
A fool rejects his father’s discipline, but whoever heeds correction is prudent.
