We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one.

So keep watch at all times, and pray that you may have the strength to escape all that is about to happen and to stand before the Son of Man.”

But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this world’s darkness, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life—whom shall I dread? You will become an object of horror, scorn, and ridicule among all the nations to which the LORD will drive you.
