Every wise woman builds her house, but a foolish one tears it down with her own hands.
A wife of noble character, who can find? She is far more precious than rubies. The heart of her husband trusts in her, and he lacks nothing of value. She brings him good and not harm all the days of her life. She selects wool and flax and works with eager hands. She is like the merchant ships, bringing her food from afar. . . .
Like a gold ring in a pig’s snout is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion.
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the LORD.
Houses and wealth are inherited from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the LORD.
To the woman He said: “I will sharply increase your pain in childbirth; in pain you will bring forth children. Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.”
Older women, likewise, are to be reverent in their behavior, not slanderers or addicted to much wine, but teachers of good. In this way they can train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, managers of their households, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be discredited.
The Lord gives the command; a great company of women proclaim it:
For this is how the holy women of the past adorned themselves. They put their hope in God and were submissive to their husbands,
Wives, in the same way, submit yourselves to your husbands, so that even if they refuse to believe the word, they will be won over without words by the behavior of their wives
So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.
For just as woman came from man, so also man is born of woman. But everything comes from God.
But I want you to understand that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.
Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, His body, of which He is the Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as a delicate vessel, and with honor as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered.
As they traveled along, Jesus entered a village where a woman named Martha welcomed Him into her home. She had a sister named Mary, who sat at the Lord’s feet listening to His message. But Martha was distracted by all the preparations to be made. She came to Jesus and said, “Lord, do You not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? Tell her to help me!” “Martha, Martha,” the Lord replied, “you are worried and upset about many things. But only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.”
He settles the barren woman in her home as a joyful mother to her children. Hallelujah!
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her
Likewise, I want the women to adorn themselves with respectable apparel, with modesty, and with self-control, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, but with good deeds, as is proper for women who profess to worship God. A woman must learn in quietness and full submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; she is to remain quiet.
Most blessed among women is Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, most blessed of tent-dwelling women. He asked for water, and she gave him milk. In a magnificent bowl she brought him curds. But because there is so much sexual immorality, each man should have his own wife, and each woman her own husband.
Now Deborah, a prophetess, the wife of Lappidoth, was judging Israel at that time.

Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonors his head. And afterward, I will pour out My Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.
