Let no unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building up the one in need and bringing grace to those who listen.
But now you must put aside all such things as these: anger, rage, malice, slander, and filthy language from your lips.
He who guards his mouth protects his life, but the one who opens his lips invites his own ruin.
You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not leave anyone unpunished who takes His name in vain.
Watch out for those dogs, those workers of evil, those mutilators of the flesh!
But avoid irreverent, empty chatter, which will only lead to more ungodliness,
As for those who are agitating you, I wish they would proceed to emasculate themselves!
