Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love Him.
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you encounter trials of many kinds,
We know that we are of God, and that the whole world is under the power of the evil one.
Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.
When Jesus looked up and saw a large crowd coming toward Him, He said to Philip, “Where can we buy bread for these people to eat?” But He was asking this to test him, for He knew what He was about to do.
But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.
The LORD is good to all; His compassion rests on all He has made.
Here is a call for the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
The spiritual man judges all things, but he himself is not subject to anyone’s judgment.
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who submit to or perform homosexual acts,
but test all things. Hold fast to what is good.
Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome,

The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to repentance.
Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.
God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity, and debauchery; idolatry and sorcery; hatred, discord, jealousy, and rage; rivalries, divisions, factions, and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which is from God. The authorities that exist have been appointed by God. Consequently, whoever resists authority is opposing what God has set in place, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad. Do you want to be unafraid of the one in authority? Then do what is right, and you will have his approval. For he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not carry the sword in vain. He is God’s servant, an agent of retribution to the wrongdoer. Therefore it is necessary to submit to authority, not only to avoid punishment, but also as a matter of conscience. . . .
An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, having children who are believers and who are not open to accusation of indiscretion or insubordination.
For at one time we too were foolish, disobedient, misled, and enslaved to all sorts of desires and pleasures—living in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
