Where can I go to escape Your Spirit? Where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to the heavens, You are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, You are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle by the farthest sea, even there Your hand will guide me; Your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me, and the light become night around me”— . . .

He did not need any testimony about man, for He knew what was in a man.

Because you have kept My command to persevere, I will also keep you from the hour of testing that is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.

But God has revealed it to us by the Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God.

be heard by You from heaven, Your dwelling place. And may You forgive and act, and repay each man according to all his ways, since You know his heart—for You alone know the hearts of all men—

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers so they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

And He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that He is the One appointed by God to judge the living and the dead.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Suddenly a sound like a mighty rushing wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw tongues like flames of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. Surely the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing His plan to His servants the prophets.

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity dwells in bodily form.

To the Lord our God belong compassion and forgiveness, even though we have rebelled against Him

He is the Rock, His work is perfect; all His ways are just. A God of faithfulness without injustice, righteous and upright is He.

The ox knows its owner, and the donkey its master’s manger, but Israel does not know; My people do not understand.” Alas, O sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a brood of evildoers, children of depravity! They have forsaken the LORD; they have despised the Holy One of Israel and turned their backs on Him. Why do you want more beatings? Why do you keep rebelling? To whom will you liken God? To what image will you compare Him?

A voice of one calling: “Prepare the way for the LORD in the wilderness; make a straight highway for our God in the desert.

The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Through Him all things were made, and without Him nothing was made that has been made.

Sanctify them by the truth; Your word is truth.

God is Spirit, and His worshipers must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

Because of this, the Jews tried all the harder to kill Him. Not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.

For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whom He wishes.

The LORD was with Judah, and they took possession of the hill country; but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the plains because they had chariots of iron.

In the resurrection, people will neither marry nor be given in marriage. Instead, they will be like the angels in heaven.

And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.

Then He will say to those on His left, ‘Depart from Me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.

Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
