If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

Everyone who practices sin practices lawlessness as well. Indeed, sin is lawlessness.
I am amazed how quickly you are deserting the One who called you by the grace of Christ and are turning to a different gospel— which is not even a gospel. Evidently some people are troubling you and trying to distort the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be under a curse! As we have said before, so now I say again: If anyone is preaching to you a gospel contrary to the one you received, let him be under a curse!
Marriage should be honored by all and the marriage bed kept undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers.
You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies.
Instead, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the desires of the flesh.
God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

If we say we have fellowship with Him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
By this we know what love is: Jesus laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. For many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Since you have purified your souls by obedience to the truth so that you have a genuine love for your brothers, love one another deeply, from a pure heart.
For it is God’s will that you should be holy: You must abstain from sexual immorality; each of you must know how to control his own body in holiness and honor, not in lustful passion like the Gentiles who do not know God; and no one should ever violate or exploit his brother in this regard, because the Lord will avenge all such acts, as we have already told you and solemnly warned you. First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgiving be offered for everyone— for kings and all those in authority—so that we may lead tranquil and quiet lives in all godliness and dignity. This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, . . .
For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ.

Speak to one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your hearts to the Lord,
But among you, as is proper among the saints, there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed.

Continue in brotherly love. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those in prison as if you were bound with them, and those who are mistreated as if you were suffering with them. Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.
Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and he who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I say?
Then Jesus left that place and went into the region of Judea, beyond the Jordan. Again the crowds came to Him and He taught them, as was His custom. Some Pharisees came to test Him. “Is it lawful for a man to divorce his wife?” they inquired. “What did Moses command you?” He replied. They sent their disciples to Him along with the Herodians. “Teacher,” they said, “we know that You are honest and that You teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You seek favor from no one, because You pay no attention to external appearance.

Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin.
Catch for us the foxes—the little foxes that ruin the vineyards—for our vineyards are in bloom.
