For many are called, but few are chosen.”
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose. For those God foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers. And those He predestined, He also called; those He called, He also justified; those He justified, He also glorified.
“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.
And we know that God works all things together for the good of those who love Him, who are called according to His purpose.
being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
Brothers, consider the time of your calling: Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were powerful; not many were of noble birth.
Regardless, each one should lead the life that the Lord has assigned to him and to which God has called him. This is what I prescribe in all the churches. Was a man already circumcised when he was called? He should not become uncircumcised. Was a man still uncircumcised when called? He should not be circumcised. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing. Keeping God’s commandments is what counts. Each one should remain in the situation he was in when he was called. Were you a slave when you were called? Do not let it concern you—but if you can gain your freedom, take the opportunity. . . .
Call to Me, and I will answer and show you great and unsearchable things you do not know.
Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom.
I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who has strengthened me, that He considered me faithful and appointed me to service.

the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to Him. Unrolling it, He found the place where it was written: “The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
To this He called you through our gospel, so that you may share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added unto you.
But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, to proclaim the virtues of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.

This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John,

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and guard you from the evil one.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think on these things.

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away.
God is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?
The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.
and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ but not do what I say?
Whatever you do, work at it with your whole being, for the Lord and not for men,
In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the government will be upon His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
