Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it.
Are not the angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Then they will come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, who has taken them captive to his will.
You believe that God is one. Good for you! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
But when you pray, go into your inner room, shut your door, and pray to your Father, who is unseen. And your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
One day the beggar died and was carried by the angels to Abraham’s side. And the rich man also died and was buried.
And suddenly there appeared with the angel a great multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying:
Then an angel from heaven appeared to Him and strengthened Him.
When the man saw Jesus, he cried out and fell down before Him, shouting in a loud voice, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You not to torture me!” For Jesus had commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man. Many times it had seized him, and though he was bound with chains and shackles, he had broken the chains and been driven by the demon into solitary places. “What is your name?” Jesus asked. “Legion,” he replied, because many demons had gone into him. And the demons kept begging Jesus not to order them to go into the Abyss.
The coming of the lawless one will be accompanied by the working of Satan, with every kind of power, sign, and false wonder, and with every wicked deception directed against those who are perishing, because they refused the love of the truth that would have saved them. For this reason God will send them a powerful delusion so that they believe the lie, in order that judgment may come upon all who have disbelieved the truth and delighted in wickedness.
Are you not aware that I can call on My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels?
And the dragon was enraged at the woman, and went to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus. And the dragon stood on the shore of the sea.
You are wearied by your many counselors; let them come forward now and save you—your astrologers who observe the stars, who monthly predict your fate.

It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves, but you, when they foretold the things now announced by those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

Thousands upon thousands attended Him, and myriads upon myriads stood before Him. The court was convened, and the books were opened.
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a storehouse of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. The fear of the LORD is Zion’s treasure.
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Advocate to be with you forever— the Spirit of truth. The world cannot receive Him, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. But you do know Him, for He abides with you and will be in you.
So He told them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.
One day in a place where Jesus had just finished praying, one of His disciples requested, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.”
In fact, they can no longer die, because they are like the angels. And since they are sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God.

Just then an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified.
And He will send out the angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from the ends of the earth to the ends of heaven.
When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

Suddenly there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, rolled away the stone, and sat on it.

This is the revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants what must soon come to pass. He made it known by sending His angel to His servant John, who testifies to everything he saw. This is the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of God’s angels over one sinner who repents.”
While they were puzzling over this, suddenly two men in radiant apparel stood beside them.

The chariots of God are tens of thousands—thousands of thousands are they; the Lord is in His sanctuary as He was at Sinai.
Then a war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back.
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back its four winds so that no wind would blow on land or sea or on any tree.
